Documenting Structured Postgraduate Professional Learning.
VAI certificates are designed to document structured postgraduate professional learning according to the requirements of each programme.
Each VAI certificate identifies the programme, the issuing academy, the completion criteria met, the version of the programme, and the date of issue. Certificate wording reflects the nature and scope of the programme it documents.
Three forms, used as appropriate.
- 01
Certificate of Attendance
Confirms participation in a defined learning activity, such as a lecture series or seminar.
- 02
Certificate of Completion
Confirms completion of the required components of a structured programme.
- 03
Certificate with Assessment
Confirms completion of required components and successful participation in defined assessment activities.
Each programme defines its own completion criteria. Components are stated in advance on the relevant programme page and may include module assessments, case-based exercises, reflective activities, and final knowledge checks.
Stated clearly where granted.
Where a programme carries CPD/CE recognition, credit allocation, or other external review status, this is stated on the corresponding programme page, with the granting body and the period of validity. Our approach to professional review is documented in detail on the CPD/CE Alignment page.
Certificate verification infrastructure is in development. Each certificate will carry a unique identifier verifiable through VAI's verification page.
Boundary of professional certificates.
Specialist status, board certification, and state academic degree equivalence are governed by relevant professional and regulatory bodies. Unless explicitly stated and formally recognised by the relevant authority, VAI certificates should not be interpreted as conferring these.
VAI is a postgraduate professional education academy under Academia Europa. Our certificates document structured professional learning; they are not, and are not represented as, regulatory qualifications.
